On 4th March 2012, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad(aba), Khalifatul Masih V, Head of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, inaugurated the Baitul Aman Mosque in Hayes, a town in the West London Borough of Hillingdon. A formal reception was held in the evening, attended by numerous dignitaries, guests and local residents.
