Introduction

By the Grace of Allah Almighty, the National Department for New Ahmadis Tarbiyyat & Waqfe Jadid and the National Department for Outreach & Public Relations are holding National New Ahmadis Ijtema 2024 at Baitul Futuh Mosque. These Ijtema’at have been divided into four groups and will be held at different locations. Your Local President and New Ahmadi Secretary will inform you of your group. If you are unsure of your group, please contact the National New Ahmadis Department.

What is the UK New Ahmadis Ijtema?

One should not take this Ijtema as an ordinary gathering; it is a life-changing experience, and a means to attain spirituality and closeness to Allah the Exalted. The two days will include regular Tahajjud prayers (voluntary prayer offered during the night), congregational prayers, exercises to build bonds of friendship with other converts and various breakout sessions to strengthen and develop your faith. Programmes will feature talks on the Holy Quran, Salat, the History of Islam, Islamic Knowledge, inspiring accounts from New Ahmadis and established Converts of their Journeys to Islam Ahmadiyyat (The True Islam), as well as fireside chats in the evenings. There will also be outdoor activities, including hiking, picnics, and BBQs for you to enjoy.

Who can attend?

This Ijtema can be attended by New Ahmadis who have converted to Islam Ahmadiyyat in the last three years. Furthermore, if a convert wishes to attend with their spouse and children, they can also register online.

The invitation is open to all New Ahmadis from all auxiliary organisations (Ansar, Khuddam, Atfal, Lajna & Nasirat).

• Ansar – Men aged over 40 years old.
• Khuddam – Men aged from 15 – 40 years old.
• Atfal – Boys aged from 7 – 15 years old.
• Lajna – Women 15 years old and onwards
• Nasirat – Girls aged from 7 – 15 years old.

Furthermore, if an established convert wishes to attend, they can do so as a member of the hosting team.
